1. Why did the Mahabharata war take place?
Mahabharata is the Hindu epic which is a fifth Vedic scripture. It narrated the war of Kurukshetra between Kauravas and Pandavas for the throne of Hastinapur.

The eldest of all Kauravas Duryodhana received his title name after defeating Balram in a fight. Duryodhana actually meant the warrior which cannot be defeated. It’s now obvious that it’s not his birth name. Not to make you more curious, his birth name is Suyodhana which is not so popular in the Mahabharata
6. Dushala was the only sister to 99 Kaurava brothers in Mahabharata
The only sister amidst 100 Kauravas in Mahabharata was Dushala. She was married to Jayadratha who also participated in the Kurukshetra war to defeat the Pandavas. He was the one who tried to kidnap Draupadi in their exile life.
7. Draupadi had a magical vessel Akshaya Patra which never get empty
The magical vessel of Mahabharata is the Leela of Lord Krishna. He made sure his sister’s house never face the issue of lack of food so, he turned an ordinary vessel into Akshaya Patra. It is always full of food and thus, no famine occurred while the Pandavas lived an exile life.

Abhimanyu was an incarnation of a very powerful demon named (Kalayvan). He was destined to die in Chakravyu as he lack the knowledge of the same. Meanwhile, this would bring him moksha.

10. Why did Pandu want his son to eat his flesh post his death?
Pandu wanted his sons to eat his flesh post his death as he wanted to transfer the knowledge he had gained over his life period. Only Sahadev the youngest son ate his flesh and thus, he got the extraordinary skill to see the future, like an astrologer or a genius.
11. Arjuna actually had four wives in Mahabharata
Arjuna was not the husband of Krishna’s sisters Subhadra and Draupadi. He also had two other wives apart from these ladies. The other wives were Chitrangada (Manipura) and Ulupi (Naga).
